Marcy Young, PHR, President & CEO
Marcy has spent more than seventeen years working with organizations of all sizes, helping to resolve their unique HR challenges. She has developed HR departments from the ground up and consulted or directed the HR function of many large, multistate and multinational organizations.
Prior to founding HR Alliance, Marcy served as the Director of Human Resources Services for Integrity HR, a local HR outsourcing and consulting firm. She developed and managed the firm’s strategic advisory service area, improving client relations, developing teams and ensuring compliance.
As Vice President of Human Resources for Uspiritus, she was instrumental in maintaining stability during a period of rapid turnover and declining economy, focusing on human capital initiatives, culture development, benefit and compensation strategies, and performance management.
Marcy led the HR function for Cedar Lake as Vice President of Human Resources where she developed culture initiatives and performance metrics, and implemented a credentialing and bonus program.
As Managing Director at HR Affiliates, she directed operational activities to maximize growth and profitability while providing strategic HR solutions to clients and identifying business-to-business opportunities.
Marcy is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and LSHRM. She is a frequent speaker at numerous seminars and organizations on strategic human resources and management issues.
